On June 9th, 2004 the Gaithersburg/Germantown Jaycees held an "Exotic Cuisine Night." Continuing to prove, "We're just not right™", the menu featured dishes which included cicadas as part of the recipe, including Soft-shell (fried) Cicadas, Cicada Stir-Fry, Banana Cicada Bread, and Chocolate Covered Cicadas. |

 We started off with an assortment of cicadas. (Available only once every 17 years!) |
 Next, we removed the wings and legs. They're not very tasty. |
